Beausejour Skating Club The Beausejour Skating Club is seeking a highly motivated NCCP Level 1 or higher certified Skate Canada Coach for the 2010-2011 skating season. Applicants must hold a valid First Aid Certificate and be registered Skate Canada Coaching Members. Beausejour is a growing community located within 40 minutes from Winnipeg and the skating club is proud to call the SunGro Centre home. Our programs include Kidskate, Canskate, StarSkate, and AdultSkate. Our Ice times are Monday from 4:00 to 7:30 pm, Wednesday 4:00 to 5:15 pm and Fridays from 4:15 to 5:45 pm. We are a growing club with an enthusiastic group of "FutureStars" looking for private, semi-private or group lessons. We also have an increasing number of CanSkate skaters interested in moving into the "FutureStars" transition program. Our StarSkate ice times are Monday 4:00pm to 6:00pm (extended to 6:30pm every other week) and Wednesdays 5:15pm to 7:30pm. Our CanSkate and Learn-to-Skate ice time is Saturday 9am-10am. Our programs run from October thru the end of March. St.Andrews Community Club is located approximately 14KM north of the Perimeter Hwy on St.Andrews Road off MainStreet (Hwy 9) and approximately 9KM south of Selkirk. Coaches from NCCP Level 1 certification up thru Level 2 certification are welcome to forward their interest. Coaches are welcome to bring skaters, although we do have several skaters who are or will be looking for a private or semi-private coach for the 2010-2011 season. NCCP Level 2 certification with Gold Dances, Skills & FreeSkate preferred, but lesser levels will be considered. Applicants must hold a valid First Aid Certificate and be registered Skate Canada Coaching Members. We require a coach or coaches to join our team for our CanSkate and STARSkate Programs. We have STARSkaters taking semi-private and private lessons from the Entry level to Gold (dances). There is also an enthusiastic group of “Bridge” skaters who will be “moving up”, looking for group, semi-private and/or private lessons. Our CanSkate program has about 50 skaters with volunteer program assistants available to help the coach. The Roblin Skating Club is pleased to offer approximately 8 hours of ice time weekly with our programs running from mid-October through to mid-April; more ice is available, depending on program/coaching needs. Roblin is located 100 kms west of Dauphin and approximately 85 kms east of Yorkton, SK. More coaching time may be available through the Roblin Skating Club and other clubs in the Parkland. Applicants must hold a valid First Aid Certificate and be registered Skate Canada Coaching Members. Our club currently has opportunities within our recreational and STARSkate/Competitive teams. We currently have 312 members registered and offer CanSkate, CanPower, STARSkate, Competitive and Synchronized skating programs to our members. Skate Brandon offers approximately 18 hours of ice time weekly with our programs running year round.
